Cossatot River State Park-Natural Area
Cossatot River State Park-Natural Area is built for adventure seekers and campers who don’t mind rugged terrain. The river is known for powerful rapids that cut through a rocky canyon, but the park offers plenty to enjoy beyond paddling. Trails follow the river corridor with spots to watch the water surge through Cossatot Falls or settle into calmer pools downstream. The visitor center stands out with its wildlife observation room and exhibits about the animals above and below the water. Picnic areas, pull-offs and riverside access make it easy to explore. Tent sites near the river and the nearby RV park and cabins keep you close to the landscape.
